Ben Carson

Many obstacles occurred in Ben’s life and he surpassed the obstacles in his life becoming a surgeon. He did that by setting goals for his self. Now I think that I can relate to him in many ways. In general, people told him that he was illiterate which means he can’t read a simple book. So he set a goal for his self to read books more often. I can relate to that because I set a goal for myself to read more often because I was failing reading class. Lastly, he later on in life he had became a successful surgeon. I can relate to that in some way because I am planning on becoming a lawyer and I know that there will be plenty on obstacles that will occur while I try to become successful in my life.
